What are the expectations for the future of phobias?

I have a psychology assignment and I need to find out the expectations for the future/ where is it going for phobias. I don’t really understand the question and need help! So I guess I need to find out about future as in are more people getting phobic? Thanks!

    I’m glad I didn’t have this one for an assignment. I don’t understand all I know about it but maybe a list of things people will be more afraid of than before. Maybe excessive fears of new diseases (I saw how everyone panicked over the swine flu!), terrorists attacks, biological warfare, etc. I know these can be very logical fears but some people predisposed to phobias can become very phobic over things like this. I remember seeing people in Wal-Mart wearing masks because of the swine flu. Now that to me is excessive and borders on phobia. Good luck with your assignment. I wish I could help more.
