My panic attacks were cured after taking Zoloft and Xanax for quite some time. Also Propranalol for migraines but it also helped a lot with getting anxious. Also spent about every week for about 3 months with a psychiatrist.

    Vallium.

But, if you want to go a more natural route, try St. Johns Wort or Seredyn.

Medication is not always the answer. I would try and relax your mind. Research stress relief techniques. Don’t always think medication is the answer!!!!!!

I’ve been taking Citalopram for several months and it has worked wonders! I also keep Lorazepam on hand for emergency use only i.e. in the event that I do actually have a panic attack.
Your doctor can work with you to find out what’s best for you. Some meds work well with one person and not with another so you may have to try a few before you find the one that’s right for you.
    Good Luck!

There is no good cure-all medication for this. the reason is , you would have to see a psychiatrist in order to be perscribed a medication, and also, a medication that may work for someone else may not for you(or worse-a bad reaction). It’s important to list what you are taking now for anything else to avoid a wrong perscription or undesirable reaction w/ what you are currently on. Also, when you start a new medicatio, your psychiatrist will often give you lower doses at first to see how you are doing on it.
Also be sure to let the psychiatrist know if there are any side affects from it. He won’t be able to help you unless you tell him whats up.
I know how this feels, i have anxiety myself, and have been through this. keep ya head up

Sometimes a better route is to find out the cause of the panic attacks. Some conditions such as Thyroid dysfunction can cause panic attacks. Do you have other symptoms??
