KG asked:

I am a new recruiter for the mortgage industry and I have this problem of worrying about my calls. (Phone fear) I will think about the call, and before you know it 15 minutes have passed.

when i started the mortgage business i was scared of the phone too what worked for me is my little rule it goes like this
small goal big goal small goal get there name big goal get the deal once you get small goal get another small goal get there number big goal get the deal to the small goals until you only have one big goal left and it will improve your closing ratio also remember it takes time it does not happen over night you need to practice and also remember whats the worst they can say to you no big deal every time you hear no your close to hearing yes so don’t give up and good luck

Just accept the fact that the vast majority of people you are going to call are going to dislike you immensly. Many will be sarcastic, rude, arrogant, condecending ect ect. In other words dont worry so much about what people are going to say or how they react. A good cold caller can be successful just 1 out 100 times they call someone.

Relax. The people you are calling cannot hurt you. They’re people just like you and they are just talking. When I have a few calls to make, I make them all back to back because when you get started you’re ok. Good luck.

    START DIALING
the more you call the more comfortable– and confident you will become.
pretty soon you will be smiling and dialing all the way to the bank!!
