I can’t lie down in an open spaces because I have this phobia that gravity will give out when I do and I’ll have nothing to grab on to. What phobia is that?

I thought I was the only one who had this Phobia. I’m so glad theres someone else except me who has it. The Phobia of Open space is called Agoraphobia. And I’m not sure about the gravity stopping Phobia but I also have that one.
Here’s a list of Phobias I found on a site.
I hoped I helped. I have the same Phobia as you do and sometimes when I try to explain it to people they don’t get what I’m talking about.
Agoraphobia is a condition where the sufferer becomes anxious in environments that are unfamiliar or where he or she perceives that they have little control. So this can be attributed to fear of open spaces, crowds etc.
I have a similar irration fear, of falling off the earth, being out of control- especially when in open spaces, on the beach etc. I couldn’t even look at the stars at night without freaking out.
I don’t know where you are in your life, but you can sort this problem out. Sometimes if you let these things go they can get worse.
I have found much relief in controlled breathing techniques – there is evidence to suggest people with panic attacks actually don’t realise they are hyperventilating, positive thinking, and medication.
