What phobia or condition does a person have when they are scared to call strangers on the phone?

theres nothing wrong with that im like that sometimes too its just being a little periniod
Kinda social disfunction order where she hasn’t got the nerve or confidence to talk to people..and she is afraid that she will not say what she means, and this is just a good old lack of confidence…I don’t know if a good book would help her, maybe some ettique books, and maybe if she rehearses first…she needs to know that she matters also, and not to be afraid, just be honest, and if they don’t like it, at least she is being true to herself…and the heck with them! lol good luck

it is a form of social anxiety
I have that and I have Aspergers.. I cant order a pizza or get gas either. Strangers freak me out. My husband can’t have windows open because he thinks people are in the bushes listening to him, and he can’t eat in public. I think everyone is a little wierd in certain aspects of their lives.
Why does she have to treat it? If you want her to change everything that annoys you, then the only person needing to change is you- not her.
