Xanax Anxiety Medicine
Suggestions for social anxiety medicine?
woudl like suggestions fo a long term drug not xanax or ativan etc..
and not ssri’s as ive been prescribed them all and they make me gain weight and dont work
so any suggesitons / personal experiences of a drug that works for bad social anxiety long term that has NO chance for weight gain?

Aropac—couldnt find anything on the internet about it. is it spelled right? the other one says side effect is common weight gain…have u experienced this? all ssri’s hav made me gain so far….and im thin and have a fast metabolism..but they make me put on 15lbs..nothing else besides these prescribed drugs make me gain for some reason…..
I suffered from horrible anxiety and tried lots of SSRI’s , Xanax, etc… Didn’t help me enough, or (like you) too many side effects. And when I say horrible…I mean couldn’t eat, sleep, and would hide in my bedroom out of total fear type of anxiety. As a last resort, I tried accupuncture. It helped INSTANTLY!!!!!!! I really mean it…INSTANTLY! I will tell everyone who suffers anxiety this! I didn’t think it would work or even help, but it did. I instantly got my life back, still feeling great now 3 months later, and NO MEDICATIONS. NONE. Poof!!! Gone! Worth a shot if you’re sick of meds that don’t work or cause too many negative side effects. (and no, it doesn’t hurt either 
)
