Yaz Anxiety Side Effects
I always feel anxiety while on the pill!?
I started taking Yaz a few months ago and stopped after a few days because I was afraid I was having chest problems (Doctors thought it was “in my head” because it wasn’y really “pain”) and then I used NuvaRing. I felt like the same thing was happening but worse so I stopped. Since then I have had either no periods or horrible periods with tons of clotting. Now I am on LoEstrin Fe (Microgestin-Generic) and I was okay ( it has only been four days) and I am so afraid of side effects, especially the serious ones! I have been known to have anxiety. I really want the pills to work and I want to stick with it but I am scared. Can anyone else give me feedback? Should I go the whole month and see if my body adjusts? I think I slept wrong last night and my arm hurts and of course I immediatly think it is a clot! HELP PLEASE!!!!!
Thanks!
I think it’s worth going to a therapist or psychologist to talk about your anxiety. The pill does have some side effects, but they are mostly mild. The serious ones are very rare, and mostly occur in women over 35 who smoke. If, logically, this doesn’t make you feel better, you might need a treatment for anxiety to go along with your birth control pills.
